Description

This 2-Ingredient Peach Cobbler bakes canned peaches and refrigerated sugar cookie dough into a warm, bubbly dessert with a golden topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans, 15 ounces each, sliced peaches in light syrup, drained
  • 1 roll, 16.5 ounces, refrigerated sugar cookie dough

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
  3. Drain the sliced peaches well, then spread them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Break the refrigerated sugar cookie dough into small pieces, about 1 inch each.
  5. Drop the cookie dough pieces evenly over the peaches.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the peaches bubble and the cookie dough topping turns golden brown.
  7. Let the cobbler rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  1. Drain the peaches well to keep the cobbler from turning watery.
  2. Do not press the cookie dough into one solid layer; scattered pieces bake more evenly.
  3. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
  4. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
