Description

Air Fryer Apple Pie Bombs are bite-sized versions of the classic apple pie, made with flaky biscuit dough, sweet cinnamon apples, and a crispy air-fried exterior. Quick, easy, and customizable, they’re the perfect dessert when you’re craving the flavors of apple pie without the effort of making a full pie.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package biscuit dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 can apple pie filling (or homemade apple filling)

  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)

  • 1/4 cup cinnamon-sugar mix (1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (177°C).

  • Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each piece to about 4 inches in diameter.

  • Chop the apple filling into smaller pieces if using canned filling. Add extra cinnamon for a spicier flavor if desired.

  • Place about 1 tablespoon of apple filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over and pinch the edges to seal.

  • Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Place the bombs seam-side down in the basket.

  • Lightly spray the tops of the bombs with cooking spray.

  • Air fry at 350°F (177°C) for 8-9 minutes until golden and crispy.

  • Dip each bomb in melted butter and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

  • Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

You can substitute the apple filling for other fruit fillings like cherry or peach.

Adjust the cinnamon levels in the filling for your preferred flavor intensity.

These are best served warm but can also be enjoyed with a cold topping like ice cream.
