- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1 pinch salt
- 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons sliced almonds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease or line a loaf pan.
- Whisk eggs and sugar until pale and slightly fluffy.
- Add milk and melted butter and mix until smooth.
- Combine flour, baking powder, vanilla, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet batter.
- Toss diced apples with cinnamon and sugar.
- Fold apples gently into the batter.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and level the top.
- Sprinkle sliced almonds evenly over the surface.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool briefly, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
- Almonds can be replaced with walnuts or pecans.
- Store at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerate up to 4 days.
