Description

Juicy baked peaches topped with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. A quick summer dessert ready in 15 minutes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large ripe peaches
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving
  • Whipped cream for serving
  • Caramel sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and spray a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Slice peaches in half and remove pits.
  3. Arrange peaches cut-side up in the baking dish.
  4. Place a small piece of butter in the center of each peach.
  5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  6. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the peaches.
  7. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes until tender and lightly golden.
  8. Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream, or caramel sauce.

Notes

  1. Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture.
  2. For a grilled version, wrap peaches in foil and grill for 8 to 12 minutes.
  3. Dark brown sugar can be used for deeper flavor.
