Description

Juicy baked peaches with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon create a fast and delicious summer dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large ripe peaches
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving
  • Whipped cream for serving
  • Caramel sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease an oven-safe baking dish.
  2. Slice peaches in half and remove the pits.
  3. Place peach halves cut-side up in the baking dish.
  4. Add a small piece of butter into the center of each peach.
  5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the peaches.
  7. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes until soft and golden.
  8. Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream, or caramel sauce.

Notes

  1. Use ripe but slightly firm peaches for the best texture.
  2. Try grilling the peaches in foil for a smoky flavor.
  3. Greek yogurt or cottage cheese works well instead of ice cream.
