Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon colorful sprinkles

Instructions
- Peel the banana and place it on a clean cutting board or plate.
- Slice the banana into even rounds about 1/2 inch thick.
- Arrange the banana slices in a slightly curved line on a plate to form a caterpillar body.
- Press two black sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, or tiny raisins into the front banana slice to make eyes.
- Decorate the remaining banana slices with colorful sprinkles.
- Break one pretzel stick in half and gently push the halves into the head slice to make antennae.
- Add small pretzel pieces along the sides for feet, if desired.
- Serve immediately while the banana tastes fresh and the pretzels stay crisp.
Notes
- Use a ripe but firm banana for the neatest slices.
- Serve right away for the best color and crunch.
- Brush banana slices lightly with lemon juice if you need to slow browning.
- Always supervise young children when slicing and eating small decorations.
