Ingredients
-
2 ripe bananas
-
1 cup all-purpose flour
-
1 tablespoon sugar
-
1 teaspoon baking powder
-
1 pinch salt
-
1 cup milk (or almond milk)
-
1 egg
-
1 tablespoon melted butter
-
Optional flavor add-ins: vanilla extract, cinnamon, mini chocolate chips
Instructions
-
Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and cut them into slices about ½ inch thick.
-
Make the Pancake Batter: In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter. Combine both mixtures and stir until just combined. The batter should be thick.
-
Heat the Pan: Warm a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
-
Dip and Cook the Bananas: Dip each banana slice into the batter, coating it completely. Place the dipped bananas on the skillet and cook for 1–2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
-
Serve: Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Use firm bananas for better results; soft bananas may fall apart.
Adjust the batter thickness with more flour if too runny or more milk if too thick.
For extra flavor, add a dash of cinnamon or a splash of vanilla extract to the batter.
