Description

Beach Bear Kids Snack is a quick no-bake summer treat made with graham crackers, blue frosting, candy beach towels, and Teddy Grahams. These playful beach snacks take only five minutes to assemble.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 full graham cracker sheets, divided
  • 1 cup white frosting
  • A few drops blue gel food coloring
  • 8 to 16 Teddy Grahams
  • 2 to 4 Rainbow Airheads Xtreme Sweetly Sour Belts

Instructions

  1. Place one stack of graham crackers in a small sandwich bag and crush with a rolling pin until coarse crumbs form. Set aside.
  2. Add a few drops of blue gel food coloring to the white frosting and stir until evenly colored. Add another drop if a darker blue color is desired.
  3. Cut the rainbow candy belts into strips slightly longer than the Teddy Grahams to create beach towels.
  4. Separate the remaining graham crackers into rectangles and arrange them on a clean work surface.
  5. Generously spread each graham cracker with blue frosting.
  6. Sprinkle crushed graham cracker crumbs along the bottom portion of each cracker to create edible beach sand.
  7. Lay one candy strip on each frosted graham cracker to resemble a beach towel.
  8. Use a toothpick to place a small dab of blue frosting on the back of each Teddy Graham.
  9. Place each Teddy Graham on a candy beach towel and press lightly to secure.
  10. Serve immediately for the crispest texture.

Notes

  1. Add blue gel food coloring gradually because a small amount creates a strong color.
  2. Use honey or cinnamon graham crackers according to your preferred flavor.
  3. Prepare the individual components ahead and assemble shortly before serving for crisp crackers.
  4. Adults should handle kitchen scissors when children help prepare the recipe.
