Description

Fresh peaches filled with a brown sugar cinnamon pecan streusel and baked until tender. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for a simple summer dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 large or 3 medium ripe-firm peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 23 tablespoons chopped pecans, optional
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 2 tablespoons chilled butter, diced
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and butter a baking dish.
  2. Scoop a small cavity from the center of each peach half.
  3. Combine flour, sugars, cinnamon, salt, pecans, and oats.
  4. Rub butter into the mixture until crumbly.
  5. Fill each peach cavity with streusel mixture.
  6. Place peaches cut side up in the baking dish.
  7. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until golden and tender.
  8. Cool slightly and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

  1. Use ripe but firm peaches for best results.
  2. Air fryer method: cook at 350°F for 5 to 15 minutes.
  3. Toast pecans for deeper flavor.
  4. Serve immediately for best texture.
