Description

These Buffalo Chicken Sliders feature juicy shredded chicken tossed with Frank’s buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, cheese, and garlic butter baked on soft slider buns.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 slider buns
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, for garlic butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×9 baking dish or casserole dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  3. Add the bottom half of the slider buns to the prepared baking dish.
  4. Divide the chicken filling evenly over the buns, top with shredded cheese, and place the top buns over the filling.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Brush the garlic butter over the tops of the buns with a pastry brush.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, until the buns turn lightly golden and the cheese melts.
  9. Cut the sliders apart and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

  1. Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
  2. Add pepper jack cheese for extra heat.
  3. Serve with ranch, blue cheese dressing, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or fries.
  4. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  5. Reheat in a 325°F oven for the best texture.
