Description

The Caramel Apple Cider Float is a fun and seasonal treat that blends the rich flavors of caramel and apple cider with the creaminess of vanilla ice cream. It’s a sweet, fizzy, and cozy drink that’s perfect for fall, combining the best parts of a dessert and a drink. Simple to make and easily customizable, it’s ideal

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup apple cider (cold-pressed or 100% apple juice)

  • 1–2 scoops vanilla ice cream (or your preferred flavor)

  • 2–3 tbsp caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1/2 cup sparkling apple cider, ginger ale, or cream soda

  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, extra caramel sauce, apple slices, cinnamon stick, cinnamon, or nutmeg

Instructions

  • Prepare the Glass: Drizzle caramel sauce inside the glass, allowing it to drip down the sides. Optionally, chill the glass in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.

  • Add Ice Cream: Scoop 1–2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into the glass.

  • Pour Apple Cider: Slowly pour apple cider into the glass over the ice cream, filling about halfway. Watch for foam and stop if it rises too quickly, then wait for it to settle before continuing.

  • Top with Sparkling Drink: Slowly pour the sparkling apple cider, ginger ale, or cream soda on top, balancing the fizz and cider.

  • Add Toppings: Top with whipped cream, drizzle extra caramel, and add an apple slice or cinnamon stick for garnish.

  • Serve Immediately: Serve the float immediately to enjoy the ice cream’s creaminess and the fizzy, sweet flavors.

Notes

You can adjust the sweetness by using less caramel or opting for a lower-sugar version.

Try different ice cream flavors like cinnamon or caramel swirl for extra autumn flavor.

This float is versatile—use it for family gatherings or serve it as a fun fall treat at parties.
