Description

Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls are golden, flaky pastries stuffed with creamy chicken and melty cheese. Ready in just 30 minutes, these comforting bites make the perfect quick dinner, appetizer, or snack. With simple ingredients like crescent dough, leftover chicken, and cream cheese, they deliver big flavor with minimal effort—ideal for weeknights, game day, or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz / 225 g) crescent roll dough

  • 2 cups (280 g) cooked chicken, shredded

  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup (115 g) shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tsp (5 g) garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp (4 g) parsley, chopped (fresh or dried)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Olive oil or cooking spray, for greasing

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil or cooking spray.

  • In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy and well blended.

  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a spoonful of filling at the wide end of each.

  • Roll each triangle toward the point, tucking sides slightly to enclose filling.

  • Place rolls tip-side down on the baking sheet.

  • Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.

  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese for smooth mixing.

Avoid overfilling to prevent leaks.

Substitute cheddar with mozzarella, pepper jack, or your favorite cheese.

Rotisserie chicken saves time and adds flavor.

Serve with dips like ranch, marinara, or hot honey.
