Description

This Cheesy Hamburger Rice Casserole combines ground beef, rice, and creamy mushroom soup topped with melted cheddar for the perfect family comfort dish.


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 onion, chopped

1 garlic clove, minced

1 cup long-grain rice, uncooked

2 cups beef broth

1 (10.75 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon paprika

¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch dish.

2. Cook beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet until browned; drain excess fat.

3. Add rice, beef broth, and mushroom soup; season and simmer 5 minutes.

4. Transfer to dish, cover with foil, and bake 25 minutes.

5. Remove foil, add cheese, and bake uncovered 10–15 minutes until bubbly.

6. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Use plant-based meat for a vegetarian version.

Add jalapeño for heat.

Store leftovers up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months.
