Description

Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Bombs are bite-sized, pull-apart dough balls filled with gooey mozzarella, savory pepperoni, and classic pizza sauce. These golden, cheesy snacks are perfect for game day, parties, or a fun family dinner—served with warm marinara for dipping!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count)

  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2432 slices pepperoni (about 34 per biscuit)

  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce (plus more for dipping)

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Optional: grated Parmesan and chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a muffin tin.

  2. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.

  3. Add filling: In the center of each dough round, place a small spoonful of pizza sauce, 3–4 slices of pepperoni, and a pinch of mozzarella cheese.

  4. Seal and shape: Pull the edges of the dough up and around the filling, pinching to seal tightly. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet or in a muffin cup.

  5. Brush with butter mixture: Combine melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush over the tops of the dough balls.

  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  7. Optional garnish: Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and parsley right after baking.

  8. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce or marinara on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • Use crescent roll dough or pizza dough as an alternative to biscuit dough.

  • Add cooked sausage, mushrooms, or olives for variety.

  • These can be prepped ahead and baked just before serving.

  • Great as a party appetizer, snack, or even lunchbox surprise.
