Tomato slices

Red onion rings

-
Instructions
-
Mix the patties: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, mashed avocado, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika. Add egg and breadcrumbs if the mixture feels too wet. Mix gently.
-
Form the patties: Shape the mixture into 4 patties. Press gently so they hold their shape. Chill for 10-15 minutes to help them stay firm while cooking.
-
Cook the patties: Grill, pan-fry, or bake the patties. If grilling, cook for 5-6 minutes per side. If pan-frying, cook for 5-7 minutes per side. If baking, bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
-
Assemble the burgers: Place lettuce on the bottom bun, add the cooked patty, and layer with sliced avocado, tomato, and onion. Spread Greek yogurt or light mayo on the top bun and close the burger.
Notes
You can use turkey instead of chicken if preferred.
For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free buns or lettuce wraps and skip the breadcrumbs.
Add spicy elements like jalapeños or chili flakes for a kick.
