Description

The Chicken Caesar BLT Sandwich combines the savory flavors of grilled chicken, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes, all dressed in creamy Caesar dressing. This hearty yet fresh sandwich brings together the best of the classic Caesar salad and BLT in one delicious, satisfying meal. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a casual snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 4 slices of bacon

  • 4 slices ciabatta, multigrain, or sourdough bread

  • 1 cup romaine lettuce (washed and dried)

  • 2 medium tomatoes (sliced)

  • ¼ cup Caesar dressing

  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Optional: 1 ripe avocado (sliced)

  • Optional: Crushed croutons for extra crunch

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Grill the chicken for about 6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.

  • Cook the bacon: Fry the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towels to remove excess fat.

  • Toast the bread: Toast the bread slices until golden brown and crispy.

  • Assemble the sandwich: Spread Caesar dressing on the toasted bread.

  • Layer the ingredients: On one slice of bread, add a layer of lettuce, followed by tomato slices, grilled chicken, bacon, and Parmesan cheese.

  • Optional additions: If using, add avocado slices and crushed croutons for extra flavor and texture.

  • Finish the sandwich: Top with the second slice of bread. Press gently to hold everything together and cut the sandwich in half.

Notes

For a lighter option, use grilled chicken and light Caesar dressing.

For a vegetarian version, replace chicken with grilled tofu or chickpea patties and use a vegetarian Caesar dressing.

To prevent sogginess, toast the bread well and use dry lettuce and tomatoes.
