Description
Easy chocolate chocolate chip cookie recipe! These soft double chocolate chip cookies are made in one bowl and can be made in about 20 minutes!
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar packed
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
2. Microwave the butter for about 40 seconds until nearly melted.
3. Whisk until fully melted.
4. Add sugars and mix well.
5. Stir in vanilla and egg.
6. Add flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
7. Mix until just combined; dough should be soft and slightly sticky.
8. Stir in chocolate chips.
9. Scoop 1.5 Tbsp dough, space 2 inches apart.
10. Bake 7–10 minutes until set but still soft.
Notes
Properly measure flour to avoid dry cookies.
Use slightly underbaked centers for softer texture.
Larger cookies require 9–10 minutes bake time.
