Description

Rich and fudgy Chocolate Dipped Brownie Hearts made with chewy brownies and smooth dark chocolate, perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boxes family-sized chewy fudge brownie mix
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate melting wafers
  • Heart sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a jelly roll pan with parchment.
  2. Mix brownie mix, eggs, water, and oil until smooth.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Spread batter evenly in pan and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Cool completely, then cut heart shapes.
  6. Freeze brownie hearts for 30 minutes.
  7. Melt chocolate wafers.
  8. Dip one side of each brownie heart into chocolate.
  9. Place on rack and add sprinkles immediately.

Notes

  1. Use a smaller heart cutter since brownies are rich.
  2. Dark chocolate wafers give the best finish, but chocolate bark works too.
