Description

Festive and creamy Christmas stuffed shells with spinach, ricotta, and marinara – perfect for any holiday dinner.


Ingredients

Scale

18 to 20 jumbo pasta shells

Extra-virgin olive oil

5 oz fresh spinach

2 cups ricotta cheese

1/4 cup pecorino cheese

2 garlic cloves

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp lemon zest

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

3/4 tsp sea salt

Freshly ground black pepper

2 cups marinara sauce

Chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F and steam spinach until wilted.

2. Cook pasta shells until al dente; drizzle with olive oil.

3. Mix spinach, ricotta, pecorino, garlic, oregano, lemon zest, and spices.

4. Spread marinara in baking dish and stuff shells with filling.

5. Bake covered for 20 minutes until bubbly. Serve hot with parsley.

Notes

Can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight. Perfect for Christmas Eve, New Year’s, or any festive dinner.
