Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup toffee bits
- Graham crackers, pretzels, vanilla wafers, or apple wedges for serving
Instructions
- Add the softened cream cheese and butter to a large mixing bowl.
- Beat with a handheld electric mixer on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes, until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the powdered sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Mix on low speed at first, then increase to medium and beat until creamy.
- Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl with a spatula.
- Add the mini chocolate chips and toffee bits.
- Mix on low briefly or fold the mix-ins into the dip by hand.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish as desired.
- Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
- Serve with graham crackers, pretzels, vanilla wafers, or apple wedges.
Notes
- Use fully softened cream cheese and butter to prevent lumps.
- Do not melt the butter because melted butter can make the dip greasy.
- Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
- Let chilled dip sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before serving.
- Store crackers and sliced fruit separately from the dip.
- Freezing is not recommended because the texture may become grainy.
