Description

Soft and golden Cottage Cheese Donuts made without yeast, fried quickly and served warm with simple toppings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups full-fat cottage cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine cottage cheese, eggs, vanilla sugar, granulated sugar, and flour until smooth
  2. Blend briefly if cottage cheese is chunky
  3. Dust hands lightly with flour and shape dough into small balls
  4. Heat vegetable oil to about 350°F
  5. Fry donut balls in batches until golden, about 3 to 4 minutes
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm
