Description
Crispy saltine crackers topped with pizza sauce, melted mozzarella, and pepperoni create a fast, kid-friendly snack for afternoons, parties, and casual lunches.
Ingredients
Scale
- 24 saltine crackers
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce or thick garlic spaghetti sauce
- 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella or Italian-blend cheese
- 24 mini pepperoni slices or 12 regular slices, quartered
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning, optional
- Finely diced bell pepper, sliced olives, or cooked sausage, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer without overlapping them.
- Spread about 1/2 teaspoon of pizza sauce over each cracker, leaving a narrow border.
- Sprinkle about 1/2 tablespoon of shredded cheese over each cracker.
- Top each cracker with mini pepperoni or another light layer of fully cooked toppings.
- Bake on the center rack for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese melts and bubbles.
- Let the Cracker Pizzas cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use thick pizza sauce or marinara so the crackers stay crisp.
- Keep the sauce and toppings light to prevent soggy or broken bases.
- Use only fully cooked meat toppings because the short baking time will not cook raw meat safely.
- Reheat leftovers at 350°F for 4 to 6 minutes or air-fry at 325°F for 2 to 3 minutes.
