Description

A festive, creamy Cranberry Pecan Goat Cheese Ball appetizer perfect for the holidays.


Ingredients

Scale

16 oz goat cheese (two 8 oz logs)

1/3 cup pecans, finely chopped

1/3 cup dried cranberries, finely chopped

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cracked pepper

1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped

1/2 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped

crackers for serving


Instructions

1. Finely chop cranberries and pecans. Mix with herbs, salt, and pepper.

2. Form goat cheese into a smooth ball.

3. Roll the cheese ball in the cranberry-pecan mixture until fully coated.

4. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.

5. Serve with crackers or vegetables.

Notes

You can blend goat cheese with cream cheese for a milder flavor.

Add a splash of Worcestershire sauce for depth.

Make mini versions for parties using rosemary sprigs.
