Description

Creamy Beef and Shells is a comforting skillet dinner made with tender pasta shells, savory ground beef, and a rich creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  2. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until cooked through.
  3. Drain excess fat, then add beef broth and Italian seasoning and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens.
  5. Fold in cooked pasta shells and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Serve hot.
