Description

Creamy pasta primavera made with penne, fresh vegetables, and a smooth herb cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • Chicken broth
  • Half and half
  • Chicken bouillon cube
  • Soy sauce
  • Hot sauce
  • Dried parsley
  • Dried basil
  • Dried oregano
  • Mustard powder
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Olive oil
  • Broccoli florets
  • Carrots
  • Red onion
  • Red bell pepper
  • Zucchini
  • Frozen peas
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Flour
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Penne pasta
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine sauce ingredients and set aside.
  2. Boil pasta water and salt it.
  3. Cook vegetables in olive oil until tender-crisp.
  4. Remove vegetables and set aside.
  5. Prepare sauce with butter, garlic, flour, and sauce mixture.
  6. Simmer sauce and cook pasta.
  7. Add cheese and lemon juice.
  8. Combine pasta, sauce, and vegetables.
