1 bell pepper, chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

20 ml (1 tbsp + 1 tsp) dark soy sauce
-
15 ml (1 tbsp) sriracha
-
10 g (2 tsp) tomato puree
-
20 g (1 tbsp) honey
-
250 g (1⅓ cups) cooked rice

Optional toppings: sliced spring onion, sesame seeds
Instructions
-
Chop onion and bell pepper; mince garlic.
-
Heat wok over medium heat. Sauté onion and bell pepper for 1–2 minutes until softened.
-
Add garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
-
Stir in ground beef. Cook 4–5 minutes until browned and no liquid remains.
-
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sriracha, tomato puree, honey, and a splash of water.
-
Pour sauce over beef. Cook 2–3 minutes until thick and glossy.
-
Add cooked rice and stir until coated and heated through.
-
Garnish with spring onion and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
Use day-old rice for the best texture. Fresh rice can turn sticky.
Adjust sriracha to control spice.
Add broccoli, snap peas, or other veggies for extra nutrition.
Honey can be swapped with brown sugar.
Reheat leftovers with a splash of soy sauce or water to revive texture.
