Description
This easy Crockpot French Dip sandwich features tender slow cooker beef served on hoagie rolls with rich au jus for dipping.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 4 slices provolone cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the beef chuck roast dry and rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Sear the beef on all sides in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer roast to Crockpot.
- Mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce, then pour over beef.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours until tender.
- Rest roast for 5 minutes, then shred with two forks.
- Return shredded beef to juices.
- Slice rolls and melt provolone if desired.
- Fill rolls with beef and serve with au jus.
Notes
- Add sliced onions or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 3 days.
- Reheat with extra broth to maintain moisture.
