Ingredients

- 3 cups unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup sprinkles
- 1 cup butter (frosting)
- 2 cups confectioners sugar (frosting)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract (frosting)
- 4 tbsp heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking trays
- Beat butter and sugars with eggs and extracts
- Mix dry ingredients separately and combine
- Fold in sprinkles
- Scoop dough and shape into balls
- Flatten slightly on tray
- Bake 13-15 minutes until light golden
- Cool completely
- Beat frosting ingredients until smooth
- Pipe frosting and add sprinkles
Notes
- Do not overbake
- Use softened butter
- Chill dough if needed
