Description
A sweet and tangy applesauce made with fresh rhubarb and apples, perfect for snacks or side dishes.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lb rhubarb, trimmed and cut
- 5 lb Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, quartered
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Wash and prepare rhubarb and apples
- Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring to boil
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes
- Cool slightly and blend until smooth
- Adjust flavor with lemon juice if needed
- Store in jars and cool completely
