Description

Flower Pretzel Bites are colorful three-ingredient spring treats made with crisp butter snap pretzels, softened white candy melts, and pastel M&M candies. Each sweet and salty bite forms a cheerful flower that works perfectly for Easter parties, spring brunches, classroom celebrations, and edible gifts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 butter snap pretzels
  • 36 white candy melts or white melting wafers
  • 252 pastel M&M candies, about 7 candies for each flower

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 225°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Arrange the butter snap pretzels in even rows on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Place one white candy melt in the center of each pretzel.
  4. Sort the pastel M&M candies by color, allowing one candy for each flower center and six candies for the petals.
  5. Turn the candies so the printed M side faces down.
  6. Warm the pretzels and candy melts in the oven for 2 to 3 minutes, until the melts look glossy and feel soft without spreading.
  7. Remove the baking sheet from the oven.
  8. Immediately press one pastel candy into the center of each softened candy melt.
  9. Arrange six more candies around each center to create flower petals, pressing gently to secure them.
  10. Let the Flower Pretzel Bites cool at room temperature until firm, or refrigerate them for 5 to 10 minutes for faster setting.
  11. Transfer the set pretzel bites to a serving platter or airtight storage container.

Notes

  1. Prepare and sort all candies before heating the candy melts because the coating begins to firm quickly.
  2. Keep the printed M side of each candy facing down for a cleaner flower design.
  3. Do not overheat the candy melts or allow them to become runny.
  4. For microwave preparation, heat a few pretzels and candy melts at a time on a microwave-safe plate in short intervals until soft.
  5. Store the finished bites in an airtight container at cool room temperature for up to 1 week.
  6. Separate stacked layers with parchment or wax paper.
  7. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks when the kitchen is warm, but let the closed container reach room temperature before opening.
