Description

Fruit Salad with Peach Pie Filling combines juicy fruit, peach flavor, and gelatin into a refreshing make-ahead dessert perfect for potlucks and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (20 ounces) chunk pineapple, drained
  • 1 can (15 ounces) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 package (23 ounces) frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
  • 1 can (21 ounces) peach pie filling
  • 2 to 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 package (3 ounces) peach gelatin mix

Instructions

  1. Drain the pineapple and mandarin oranges thoroughly.
  2. Combine pineapple, oranges, strawberries, and peach pie filling in a large bowl.
  3. Stir gently until evenly mixed.
  4. Sprinkle dry peach gelatin over the fruit mixture.
  5. Mix again until fully combined.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Slice bananas and fold them into the salad before serving.

Notes

  1. You can substitute apricot, strawberry, or strawberry banana gelatin for peach gelatin.
  2. Pineapple tidbits work well if pineapple chunks are unavailable.
  3. Mixed berry pie filling can replace peach pie filling for a different flavor.
  4. Add bananas shortly before serving for the best texture and appearance.
