Description
Tender garlic butter steak bites and potatoes cooked in one skillet for a fast, bold, satisfying meal.
Ingredients
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 lb baby potatoes, halved or quartered
3 tbsp butter, divided
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil.
2. Add potatoes, season with salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
3. Cook for 10–12 minutes until fork-tender and golden.
4. Remove potatoes from skillet and set aside.
5. Add 1 tbsp butter to the same skillet.
6. Add steak bites in a single layer.
7. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side.
8. Remove steak and set aside.
9. Reduce heat and add remaining 1 tbsp butter and garlic.
10. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
11. Return steak and potatoes to the skillet.
12. Toss everything in the garlic butter.
13. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
For extra browning, avoid overcrowding the pan.
Use baby potatoes for even cooking.
