Description

These Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Parmesan Cream Sauce are a quick, indulgent skillet dinner that delivers steakhouse flavor in just 30 minutes. Juicy cubes of steak are seared to perfection, tossed in garlicky butter, and paired with a silky Parmesan cream sauce that’s perfect for drizzling or dipping. A restaurant-quality meal that’s easy enough for weeknights and elegant enough for date night.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

For the Parmesan Cream Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add steak in batches, searing each side 2–3 minutes until browned and cooked to preference. Remove and set aside.

  • Lower heat to medium. Melt butter in the skillet, add garlic, and sauté 30 seconds. Return steak bites and toss to coat in garlic butter.

  • In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds. Stir in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, then whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

  • Serve steak bites hot with Parmesan cream sauce drizzled over or served on the side. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

Patting steak dry ensures a good sear.

Don’t overcrowd the pan—sear in batches for caramelization.

Add a splash of red wine to deglaze the skillet for deeper flavor.

Ribeye offers more marbling and richness, while sirloin is leaner and budget-friendly.

Let sauce simmer a few minutes longer for a thicker consistency.
