Description
Bite-sized garlic-butter brushed biscuit pockets filled with seasoned ground beef and melted cheese, these Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs deliver classic cheeseburger comfort in an easy handheld form.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Add the ground beef to a skillet over medium heat and cook, breaking it apart, until no longer pink.
- Season the cooked beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, then drain off any excess grease.
- Stir the shredded cheddar cheese and 2 tablespoons of the grated Parmesan into the warm beef until the mixture is cheesy and cohesive.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and gently press each biscuit into a flat disc about 3 to 4 inches wide.
- Place a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each dough disc.
- Fold the dough up and over the filling, pinching the edges together firmly to seal, then place each bomb seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and remaining grated Parmesan.
- Brush the tops of each cheeseburger bomb generously with the garlic-Parmesan butter mixture.
- Bake for 12 to 18 minutes, or until the biscuit dough is cooked through and deep golden brown.
- Let the Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs cool for a few minutes before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- For the best texture, use lean ground beef and drain it well so the dough does not become soggy.
- Avoid overfilling the dough; a heaping tablespoon of filling per biscuit is usually enough to keep the bombs from splitting open.
- Make sure the seams are tightly pinched so the cheese stays inside while baking.
- You can assemble the bombs ahead, refrigerate them, and bake just before serving for parties or game day.
- Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer instead of the microwave to keep the crust crisp.
