Description

Grilled Chicken Bites with Creamy Garlic Sauce are smoky, tender, bite-sized pieces of chicken seasoned with paprika, garlic, and cayenne, then served with a tangy and velvety garlic dip. Quick to prepare in under 40 minutes, they make the perfect appetizer, party finger food, or easy family dinner option.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approx. 450 g)

  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil

  • 1 tsp (2.5 g) paprika

  • 1 tsp (2.5 g) garlic powder

  • 1 tsp (2.5 g) onion powder

  • ½ tsp (3 g) salt

  • ¼ tsp (1 g) black pepper

  • ¼ tsp (0.5 g) cayenne pepper

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) mayonnaise

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) sour cream

  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) heavy cream

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice

  • 1 tsp (2 g) fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  • Cut chicken breasts into 1–2 inch bite-sized pieces.

  • Toss chicken with olive oil, then coat evenly with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne. Let rest 5 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, make the sauce: mix mayonnaise, sour cream, and heavy cream. Stir in garlic, lemon juice, and parsley. Chill until ready to serve.

  • Grill chicken bites for 5–7 minutes per side, turning occasionally, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  • Remove from the grill, plate, and serve hot with the garlic sauce on the side or drizzled over the chicken.

Notes

Don’t over-flip the chicken; let grill marks develop for better flavor.

Rest chicken for a few minutes before serving to lock in juices.

Sauce can be made ahead for deeper flavor.

Adjust cayenne to taste—reduce for kids, double for extra spice.

Works well with chicken thighs for juicier bites.
