- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce

- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 zucchini, sliced
- 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup steamed white rice
Instructions
- Wash and chop all vegetables, mince garlic, and measure sauces.
- Start cooking the rice according to package directions.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
- Stir in soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar, then simmer briefly until glazed.
- In another pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic and mushrooms.
- Add broccoli, zucchini, and bell pepper and stir-fry until tender-crisp.
- Assemble bowls with rice, beef, and vegetables and spoon extra sauce on top.
Notes
- Swap ground beef with turkey or tofu for a lighter option.
- Top with a fried egg for extra richness.
- Add more chili flakes or hot sauce for extra heat.
- Use brown rice or cauliflower rice if preferred.
