- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook diced onion until soft.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Stir in smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add sliced bell peppers and cook until slightly tender.
- Pour in chicken broth, tomato paste, and soy sauce and simmer briefly.
- Finish with fresh lime juice and garnish before serving.
