Description
Creamy Mexican guacamole salsa made with avocado, tomatillos, cilantro, and jalapeño. Perfect as a dip or as a sauce for tacos, burritos, eggs, and grilled dishes.
Ingredients

- 3 tomatillos, husks removed and quartered
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1/2 to 2 jalapeños, seeded and chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1 large avocado
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/3 cup water
Instructions
- Remove husks from tomatillos, rinse well, and cut into quarters.
- Add tomatillos to a blender.
- Add chopped onion to the blender.
- Remove seeds and stem from the jalapeño, chop, and add to the blender.
- Add chopped cilantro.
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, scoop out the flesh, and add it to the blender.
- Add water, salt, and garlic powder.
- Blend everything until smooth and creamy.
- Taste the salsa and adjust salt or jalapeño if desired.
Notes
- Start with half a jalapeño if you prefer mild heat.
- Add more water gradually if the salsa is too thick.
- Use a ripe avocado for the best creamy texture.
- Store in the refrigerator and consume within 1–2 days.
