Description

Easy Homemade Peach Tea made with fresh peaches, sugar, water, and black tea for a refreshing summer drink.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 23 fresh peaches, sliced
  • 3 tea bags
  • 6 cups water
  • Ice for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, water, and peaches in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium.
  3. Crush peaches while stirring until sugar dissolves.
  4. Remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 30 minutes.
  5. Boil 6 cups water and steep tea bags for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove tea bags and cool the tea.
  7. Strain peach syrup through a fine mesh strainer.
  8. Mix syrup with cooled tea.
  9. Serve over ice.

Notes

  1. Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
  2. Adjust sugar to taste.
  3. Store refrigerated for up to 4 days.
