Description

Crispy fried chicken cutlets finished with a sticky sweet and spicy hot honey glaze that delivers bold flavor in every bite.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 large chicken breasts, sliced in half
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmigiano Reggiano, grated
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 1/4 cups peanut oil
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Slice and pound chicken to even thickness
  2. Season chicken on both sides
  3. Whisk eggs with hot sauce and cayenne
  4. Mix breadcrumbs and cheese
  5. Dip chicken in egg then breadcrumbs
  6. Heat oil in skillet
  7. Fry chicken until golden and crisp
  8. Simmer honey and hot sauce
  9. Pour sauce over chicken and serve
