Description
This sweet and spicy Jalapeño Peach Jam combines ripe peaches, fresh jalapeños, lemon zest, and sugar into a bold homemade spread perfect for toast, cheese boards, and grilled meats.

- 5–6 medium peaches, peeled, pitted, and finely chopped
- 4–5 small jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 cups granulated sugar
Instructions
- Peel and pit the peaches, then finely chop them.
- Wash and seed the jalapeños before chopping finely.
- Combine peaches, jalapeños, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a large saucepan.
- Cook over medium-high heat while stirring frequently until the mixture begins boiling gently.
- Add the sugar and stir continuously until fully dissolved.
- Maintain a rolling boil for 15 to 20 minutes until the jam thickens.
- Test the jam by dipping a spoon into the mixture. The jam should coat the back of the spoon.
- Transfer the hot jam into clean jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
- Wipe the rims clean, seal the jars, and cool completely at room temperature.
Notes
- Store refrigerated for up to 3 weeks.
- Freeze in freezer-safe jars for up to 6 months.
- Process jars in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes for long-term storage.
- Blanch peaches before peeling for easier skin removal.
- Use a potato masher or immersion blender for smoother jam texture.
