Description

Need an easy, flavorful appetizer for a crowd? This Layered Greek Dip delivers bright Mediterranean flavor with fresh veggies, creamy layers, and bold toppings.

Ingredients

Scale

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup prepared hummus

¾ cup chopped cucumber

¾ cup chopped tomato

½ cup chopped pitted Kalamata olives

½ cup crumbled feta cheese

¼ cup sliced green onions

Pita chips

Instructions

1. Add cream cheese, lemon juice, Italian seasoning and garlic in a medium mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until combined.

2. Spread cream cheese mixture into a serving dish.

3. Spread the hummus on top of the cream cheese mixture then top with the remaining ingredients.

4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 12 hours.

5. Serve with pita chips.

Notes

Use any serving dish you prefer: an oval gratin dish, pie plate, 8×8 or 11×7 baking dish, or a large platter.

Make ahead by assembling a few hours in advance and refrigerating.

Prep ingredients separately and assemble right before serving.

For leftovers: mix with chopped romaine for a Greek-inspired salad, or spread in tortillas and slice into pinwheels.
