Description
A refreshing mangonada made with mango, lime, chamoy, and chile-lime salt for the perfect sweet, tangy, and spicy Mexican drink.
Ingredients

- 2 large limes
- 2 pounds frozen mango chunks
- 2–3 cups water
- 1/4 cup cane sugar
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 2 fresh mangoes, cubed
- 1/2 cup chamoy
- 2–4 tablespoons chile-lime salt
- 6 tamarind candy straws
Instructions
- Peel and cube fresh mangoes and prepare bowls with chamoy and chile-lime salt
- Squeeze limes into a blender and add frozen mango, water, sugar, and ice
- Blend until smooth and thick, adjusting water as needed
- Dip glasses into chamoy and chile-lime salt and drizzle chamoy inside
- Pour mango mixture into glasses and top with fresh mango cubes
- Add extra chamoy, chile-lime salt, and tamarind straws before serving
Notes
- Adjust sugar depending on mango sweetness
- Do not overblend to avoid watery texture
- Layer chamoy for better flavor distribution
- Use frozen mango for best consistency
- Add more ice for a lighter version
