Description
Mexican Fiesta Pinwheels are creamy tortilla roll ups filled with a spiced cream cheese mixture, salsa, cheese, and green chilies. These bite size party appetizers are easy to prepare ahead of time and perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- Dash garlic powder
- 1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chilies
- 1 cup Mexican cheese, finely shredded
- 8 (10-inch) flour tortillas
- Salsa for serving
Instructions
- Add cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, taco seasoning, and garlic powder to a bowl and mix until smooth.
- Stir in chopped green chilies and shredded Mexican cheese.
- Spread about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of the mixture evenly over each tortilla.
- Roll each tortilla tightly like a jelly roll and place seam side down in a dish.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Slice each roll into 1 inch pinwheel pieces.
- Arrange on a serving tray and serve with salsa.
Notes
- Slice rolls up to 24 hours ahead and keep covered in the refrigerator.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Pinwheels can be frozen for up to 3 months and thawed in the refrigerator before serving.
