Ingredients
Scale
- 1 mini baguette (about 8 to 10 ounces), sliced into 8 to 10 small pieces
- 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
- 6 to 8 ounces sliced sausage (such as smoked sausage or deli sausage)
- 4 ounces sliced cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the mini baguette into small portions and cut each piece in half horizontally to create mini sandwich buns.
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the minced garlic until well combined.
- Spread a thin layer of garlic mayonnaise on the bottom half of each baguette piece.
- Layer a slice of sausage, a slice of tomato, and a piece of cheese on each. Cover with the top half of the baguette.
- Arrange the mini burgers on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is lightly crisp.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, lightly toast the baguette before assembling.
- You can substitute ham or turkey for the sausage.
- Add lettuce or pickles for additional texture and freshness.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat in the oven for best results.
