Description
Creamy mint hot chocolate made with white chocolate, milk, and peppermint. A smooth and festive winter drink.
Ingredients

- 2½ cups whole milk
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1¼ teaspoons peppermint extract
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1¼ cups white chocolate chips
- 3 to 4 drops green food coloring
- Canned whipped topping for garnish
- ¼ cup mint chocolate candies, crushed (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Add milk, cream, peppermint extract, and vanilla to a saucepan over medium heat and warm while stirring.
- Add white chocolate chips and stir until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in green food coloring.
- Pour into mugs, top with whipped topping and crushed mint candies, and serve warm.
Notes
- Make the drink a day ahead and store without garnish in the refrigerator.
- Stir constantly over medium heat to prevent scorching.
- Serve in clear mugs to highlight the color.
