A hearty nacho pie made with tortilla chips, seasoned beef, chili beans, tomato sauce, and melted Mexican cheese baked into an easy family dinner.
Ingredients

- 4 cups nacho-flavor tortilla chips crushed
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can chili beans 15.5 ounce
- 1 can tomato sauce 8 ounce
- 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9 inch pie plate
- Spread crushed tortilla chips evenly in the bottom of the pie plate
- Cook ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned
- Drain excess fat and season beef with salt and pepper
- Spoon the cooked beef mixture over the tortilla chips
- Top with chili beans and tomato sauce
- Sprinkle shredded Mexican cheese blend over the top
- Bake uncovered for 15 to 17 minutes until hot and cheese is melted
Notes
- Do not crush the chips too finely so they keep texture
- Drain beef well before assembling the pie
- Serve with sour cream or fresh toppings if desired
