Description

Creamy Nectarine Frozen Yogurt made with fresh nectarines, lemon juice, and Greek yogurt for a refreshing summer dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sliced nectarines
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 cup 2% Greek yogurt
  • Optional nectarine slices for garnish
  • Optional mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash, pit, and slice the nectarines.
  2. Blend the nectarines and lemon juice in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Strain the puree through a mesh strainer if using the skins.
  4. Mix the puree with the Greek yogurt until creamy.
  5. Chill the mixture for at least 1 hour.
  6. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for about 15 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately for soft frozen yogurt or freeze for a firmer texture.

Notes

  1. Use ripe nectarines for the best flavor.
  2. Full-fat Greek yogurt creates a creamier texture.
  3. Allow frozen yogurt to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before scooping if fully frozen.
  4. This recipe also works well in popsicle molds.
