Description

Easy Peach and Basil Flatbread made with naan, mozzarella, fresh peaches, basil, and optional balsamic reduction for a quick summer dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large naan breads
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 fresh peach, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 15 basil leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix olive oil and garlic.
  3. Brush mixture over naan breads.
  4. Place naan on a sprayed baking sheet.
  5. Add mozzarella slices.
  6. Top with peach slices.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly and browned.
  9. Simmer balsamic vinegar until reduced if using.
  10. Sprinkle basil over baked flatbreads.
  11. Drizzle with balsamic reduction, slice, and serve.

Notes

  1. Use ripe but firm peaches.
  2. Try goat cheese, gouda, gruyere, or asiago.
  3. Tomatoes can replace peaches for a caprese variation.
  4. Add chicken, sausage, or shrimp for extra protein.
