Description
A refreshing homemade Peach Iced Tea made with black tea, ripe peaches, water, and sugar. Perfect for summer gatherings and everyday enjoyment.
Ingredients

- 3 black tea bags
- 4 cups boiling water
- 3 large ripe peaches, chopped
- 2 cups water, divided
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- Ice cubes
- Peach slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups water to a light simmer.
- Remove from heat and steep tea bags for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and chill the tea.
- Blend peaches, 1 cup water, and sugar for 2-3 seconds.
- Transfer mixture to a saucepan and add remaining water.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and steep for 30 minutes.
- Strain through a fine mesh sieve.
- Chill the peach syrup.
- Combine chilled tea and peach syrup in a pitcher.
- Stir well and serve over ice.
Notes
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- Flavor improves after resting overnight.
- Add simple syrup if additional sweetness is desired.
- Use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
